Ajimobi approves release of promotions in Oyo civil, public service

Oyo State Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi has approved the release of years 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 promotions in the Oyo State Civil and Public Service. This was contained in a statement signed by Mr Soji Eniade, the outgoing Head of Service which was made available to journalists in Ibadan on Tuesday. The statement described the approval as an attestation of the governor’s committment to the welfare of workers, urging them to reciprocate the gesture through loyalty, hardwork and commitment to service. The statement reads “The governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi has approved immediate release of years 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 promotions in the Civil/Public Services of Oyo State. “This is an attestation to the fact that Governor Ajimobi is greatly committed to the welfare of workers in the State, while expecting that the kind gesture would be adequately reciprocated by workers in the State through loyalty, hardwork and commitment while in the service of Oyo State.” Ajimobi had during the 2018 interfaith prayer session of the state government, promised to approve the promotion among other financial pecks for the State workers. Ajimobi had stated that he was committed to the welfare of the workers, saying that said that promotion in the state Ministries,Directorates and Agencies would be based on performance and service delivery. The governor assured workers in the state of his administration’s readiness to clear salary arrears within the next three months. About 43 civil and public servants that were from various MDAs were rewarded with N100, 000 each, apart from the certificate of meritorious services issued to them for efficient services they were noted to have put into their work.
