The family head (Daodu) of the Oyebola family, from which the Aseyin-designate emerged, Prince Oyebola Oyeyemi has disclosed that the installation of the king will soon begin.

Prince Sefiu Olawale Oyebola was picked among eleven others by seven, out of ten kingmakers during the selection process, which was witnessed by representatives of Oyo State Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Iseyin Local Government representatives, security operatives and other concerned community leaders.

While speaking with during a recent interview granted an online television outfit, Prince Oyeyemi appeared God for an itch-free selection process that led to the emergence of Prince Olawale, saying it was foretold that the royal families would support any of the contestants that kingmakers picked.

“We thank God that he has answered our prayers with the recent development culminating into the emergence of Prince Sefiu Olawale Oyebola as the next Aseyin of Iseyin.

“The process that led to his emergence was very free and fair, open to all Princes and Princesses as well as the kingmakers. The entire Oyebola family is in support of the process and his person as our Oba and Iseyin people are eagerly waiting for his installation.

“Twelve Princes contested and he won the contest. The selection process this time around was far different from how it used to be as all players were on the field and the process was well observed by the umpires which are the State and the local government representatives.

“There is no bickering among us in the Oyebola family because we agreed that whoever among the eleven contestants that emerged would be given support by the family. That is why we are supporting Prince Sefiu Olawale Oyebola.

“Nobody is going to court among us. We have decided among us and the kingmakers that whoever emerged would receive the support of other contestants and families.

”For the people of Iseyin that are anxious to see their new king, I assure you that installation rites and other process will soon begin,” he stated.
