Aseyin, Indigenes Congratulates I.D.U National President on Retirement

Notable indigenes of Iseyin have started congratulating the national President of Iseyin Development Union (I.D.U), Alhaji Bayo Raji on his retirement from active service.

Raji retired on Friday 28th August, 2021 as Head of Local Administration (H.L.A) under the Oyo State Local Government Service Commission, after serving as the Chairman of Oyo State HLAs, former President, Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Oyo State Chapter, as well as National Auditor of the Union.

 

He was recently called to the bar after finishing at the law school and has been a versatile leader of thought, especially on the development of Iseyin community and Oke-Ogun region.

 

In a message of congratulation, the Aseyin of Iseyin, Oba Dr. Abdulganiy Salawudeen Adekunle Oloogunebi Ajinese 1, described Raji as a notable son of Iseyin, who has sacrificed so much towards the progress of his community.

 

He prayed for God’s guide and good health for the Unionist, especially after retiring into private life and other aspects of endeavors.

In his own message, Chief Niyi Falade, a former National President of All Nigerian Congress of Principals of Public Secondary Schools (ANCOPPS), said Bayo Raji has achieved greatness through the dint of hard work and resilience.

“I use this time to congratulate an illustrious son of Iseyin, our indefatigable National President,IDU, Alhj Bayo Raji,on his glorious, blemish-free retirement from public service today and on his attainment of the age of sixty(60) years!!! Congratulations, dear brother!!! May you live long in sound health and abundant prosperity!!!“

Barrister Bayo Raji has been at the forefront of many developmental strides of I.D.U, especially the location of higher institutions of learning in Iseyin community and restoration of peace after the recent EndSARS protest in the community.
