Breaking!!! NASFAT Mourns As Foundation Coordinator, Alhaji Yunus Ali-Balogun Dies

Members of NASFAT in Iseyin, Iseyin local government were thrown into mournful mood as the foundation Coordinator of the Islamic body in the town, Alhaji Yunus Ali-Balogun died on Thursday.

In a statement made available to The Chronicler Newspaper on Friday and signed by its Chairman, Alhaji Abdul-Lateef Hamzat (Okiti), the news of the death of Alhaji Ali was shocking, as he was always healthy and active, especially in his drive propagate the development of Islam in Iseyin.

He said Alhaji Yunus Ali-Balogun pioneered the establishment of NASFAT in Iseyin and successfully mobilized residents of the community to make Iseyin branch of the Islamic organization very notable.

He added that Ali also worked tirelessly in extending the reach of the organization to other Oke-Ogun communities.

”It is with deep sorrow but with agreement with the will of the Lord Almighty Subuhana watallah, that we mourn our foundation Coordinator, Alhaji Yunus Ali-Balogun, who died after a brief illness in a Lagos hospital.

”We pray for the repose of his soul and forgiveness for him and those he left behind,” Hamzat prayed.

The remains of the late businessman and community leader, who worked for the progress of Iseyin would depart Lagos for Iseyin on Friday.

Late Alhaji Yunus Ali-Balogun established NASFAT in Iseyin on the 28th April, 2001.
