Endorsements: APC Is Not Worked Up – Keyamo
…..Says No Administration Since 1979 That Obasanjo Did Not Criticize

The spokesperson of the Senator Bola Tinubu’s campaign council, Festus Keyamo has disclosed that his party was not worked up over the recent endorsement of the Labour Party’s Presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
Keyamo, who said this on Wednesday morning during a live interview on Arise Television’ Morning Show, said Obasanjo did not have the required respect to convince voters to vote for his candidate.

“We all know that endorsement is targeted at the people’s decision towards election.
”Some of the endorsements appeared to come with some level of sanctimony while these individuals are not themselves sanctimonious.

“We need to tell the younger generations some of the history of these elders, Tell me one government that Obasanjo has never came hard upon since he left power even after leaving military office
In 2019, Obasanjo did same thing and Buhari won because 15million Nigerians didn’t listen to Obasanjo.“
When asked if Tinubu’s visit to Obasanjo’s residence at Abeokuta recently was not to seek endorsement, Keyamo said the visit was only as a sign of respect for elders in the nation and not to seek endorsement.

“Buhari visited Obasanjo in 2015 just as a sign of respect not for endorsement,” he mentioned.
