EndSARS: Oyo Residents Want Nigerian Police off The Roads

Callers to radio programmes on Oluyole 98.5 FM and Beat FM on Thursday morning have advised the federal government not to allow policemen to continue with road blocks whenever they return back to their stations throughout the nation.
The men of the Nigerian police were at the receiving end of a violent vandalization across the country which led to burning and destruction of police stations and killing of officers.
Many of the callers said instead of the police to stay at particular points to search vehicles and motorists, they should engage in routine patrol for effective coverage of the areas so as to stall attempts to rob or kidnap citizens.
Oyo State police command recently announced that about six of his men were killed during the vandalization of facilities of the police across the State while many stations were destroyed.
