I Have Forgiven Those Behind My Travails -Hon Raheem Ajibola

….Appreciates Iseyin People For Standing By The Truth

The reinstated Chairman, Iseyin South Local Council Development Area, Iseyin, Hon. Ajibola Raheem has said he forgave all the people behind his recent political travails.

Ajibola was suspended by the Oyo State House of Assembly after Councilors under the Local Government voted to oust him from office due to allegations bothering on embarking on community projects without the approval of the main council executive Chairman, Hon. Mufutau Abilawon.

The State House of Assembly on Thursday morning reinstated the embattled LCDA Political Head after carrying out investigations which absolved him of any wrongdoing.

He however appreciated the people of Iseyin community who stood by him during the period he was suspended, saying he was sure that the news of his reinstatement would gladden them.

“I want to appreciate all our people in Iseyin, most importantly Iseyin South LCDA who have stood by us in those darkest days.

“You choose truth over lies and light over darkness. Am very sure that the news of reinstatement will definitely gladden many hearts and larger percentage of iseyin citizens.

“This is not just because I  have made myself an honourable politician but because my youthfulness and good governance approach has raised the standard of governance in our town.

”To those who were behind the whole crisis, I say I have forgiven them all, this is politics and I have learned more within the short space of time, we shall all work together for a better community,” he assured.
