‘I Will Protect The Interest of My People’ – Alh. Faoziyat Sanni

The newly inaugurated Commissioner for Women Affairs in Oyo State, Alhaja Faoziyat Sanni has assured the people of Oke-Ogun, especially Iseyin that she would do her best to represent their interest for the growth of the region.
Sanni was sworn in on Monday as part of the cabinet of Engr. Seyi Makinde alongside two others.




said she was conversant with the major needs of the people of Oyo State, especially the people of Oke-Ogun, among which Iseyin, her hometown was located.




“My people have have peculiar needs that must be met. The present administration in Oyo State knows of these and will do everything possible to improve the living condition of the people.
“My background gave me the opportunity to see what happens at the grass root. I know what they want and I will be the intermediary between them and the government.”
Faoziyat Sanni attended L.A Demonstration primary School, Oluwole, Iseyin and Irepo Secondary School, Igboho before leaving for the United States for further studies.
Until her appointment as a Commissioner in Oyo State, she was the Deputy Registrar, University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
She has a scholarship scheme that has many indigent students from Iseyin at SAF Group of Schools, Iseyin and in some tertiary institutions in the country.
She hailed from Ariwoola family at Elewuetu Compound, Oja-nla, Iseyin and married to Prof. Sanni from Okeho, Kajola local government.
