Iseyin Development Union Refurbishes Police Car For Efficiency

According to the I.D.U Ibadan branch Chairman, Alhaji Kayode Alaka, the idea to refurbish the Peugeot car was to add value to the duties of the security personnel, in the area of combing the nooks and crannies of Iseyin, in their bid to prevent crime.

Iseyin Development Union Refurbishes Police Car For Efficiency

The Ibadan branch of Iseyin Development Union (I.D.U) has undertaken the refurbishment of an abandoned police Peugeot car, to ensure efficient patrol of the roads under the community by the policemen.

According to the I.D.U Ibadan branch Chairman, Alhaji Kayode Alaka, the idea to refurbish the Peugeot car was to add value to the duties of the security personnel, in the area of combing the nooks and crannies of Iseyin, in their bid to prevent crime.

He said the Union has recently intervened in community projects like the renovation of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), to accommodate officers of the corps among others.

”We believe the refurbished vehicle will assist our police officers will maximize the use of this vehicle among other once procured and presented to them by the State government and individuals with means.

”While appreciating members of I.D.U Ibadan branch for heeding the call to do this project, which is to refurbish this vehicle and allow officers of Nigerian police in Iseyin to do their patrol works with ease.”

He called on the people of financial capacity to look at their communities and see what they can do, to better the living standard of those in the grassroot.
