The newly-appointed Minister of Youth, Dr. Jamila Ibrahim has appreciated President Bola Tinubu for appointing her as a Minister and the opportunity given her to serve the country.
Jamila is a medical doctor, a politician and development expert and an indigene of Kwara State. Her father, Ibrahim Bio was the former minister of sports during the Goodluck Jonathan administration.
“Thank you, @officialABAT for the amazing opportunity to work for the government. It’s an honor to serve our nation under your leadership. I will serve as Minister Of Youth, I can’t express my gratitude enough to the @NGRPresident for providing me with a government. JBI,” the young Minister-designate said.
The National Assembly has announced its readiness to cut short its holidays in order to convene and screen Jamila and other appointees of the President, so they can assume office and start work in earnest.
