The kidnapped hotelier in Iseyin, Mr Dejo Ajuwon has been released on Friday afternoon after an undisclosed amount of money was paid.

Ajuwon was kidnapped on Wednesday afternoon on his farmland in Iseyin by yet you be known gunmen who sources said demanded hundred million naira at the initial negotiation period.

Mr Dejo’s kidnap has been alluded to series of many of such that have been happening within the Iseyin community as many young farmers have abandoned their farms due to incessant kidnapping of farm owners and their workers.


The Chronicler Newspaper reported the kidnap of a farm manger, his girlfriend and two others at the State’s farm settlement at Iseyin in late 2022 where one of other three victims was shot dead in the process of rescue by security personnel.
