Late Foremost NURTW Leader, Ojewumi To Be Buried in May





The late former Oyo State Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Pa James Awoniyi Ojewumi will be buried in May, according to family source.
The source told The Chronicler Newspaper on Monday that the first Wake Keep for the late transport unionist will be held at his Ibadan residence on the 17th of May while the remains will be transported to Iganna, his hometown for the second Wake Keep on the 18th of May while the final burial will be on the 19th of May, 2023.
Pa James Adeniyi Ojewumi was eighty years old before his death on Friday, 7th April, 2023 after a brief illness.












He hailed from Iganna, Iwajowa local government and lived most of his young age years at Iseyin, Iseyin local government.
He was noted to have contributed immensely to the unity of purpose that was present in the transport union during his time in the leadership of NURTW before politics was introduced into the organization, according to some followers.
