Lekki Massacre: We Have Identified The Barracks of Soldiers That Shot Protesters -Falana
Popular human right lawyer and Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Femi Falana has announced that the barracks where the solders that shot at protesters at Lekki recently came from.
The revelation came on Monday while Falana was answering questions on a TV interview programme on Arise TV at Lagos where he said facts were already coming out about the veracity of the claims that solders shot at unarmed protesters at Lagos.
He said “the President was likely to have been told, soldiers were ordered so I want to believe that is why it was not addressed and they said it was a rumor, but I think the facts are emerging now.
“That solders indeed went to Lekki, indeed they fired at protesters and indeed some of the protesters, at least two have been officially acknowledged to have died from gunshot wounds.”
There was outrage over the national broadcast made by President Buhari on Tuesday about the #EndSARS protests that held throughout the country where the President failed to acknowledge the alleged shooting by military personnel at Lekki in Lagos.
