Oyo Commissioner Commissions, Inspects Tranformers in Oyo, Ibadan Communities

 

The Oyo State Commissioner for Energy, Seun Ashamu has commissioned a 500kva transformer at Agbaakin community, Atiba Local Government, Oyo.

Ashamu also inspected some soon-to-be commissioned installation of 500kva transformers at Molade, Aremo and Anifalaje communities.

He reiterated the commitment of Governor Seyi Makinde-led administration to boost investment and economic activities of the people as he called on residents and indigenes to keep supporting the Government.

 

He stated that the essence of the installation of the 500kva transformer was to stop the massive power load shedding, which has affected the socio economic activities of the people in the area.

The Commissioner who said government would continue to create enabling environment for investments to thrive also assured residents of the State of increased infrastructural works in the State.

“The transformer will guarantee better quality of electricity to the area,” he added.

He however commended the contractors handling the projects for executing the projects according to specifications.

Earlier, the community leader at Agbaakin, Oyo, Alh. Imam Esho appreciated the present administration in nOyo State for it’s welfare programmes and projects.

He pledged the community’s support and co-operation towards moving the State forward.

“Agbaakin has been suffering from epileptic power supply for a while now, but we are glad that the State Government has come to our rescue with this transformer to boost our economic and commercial activities”, he concluded
