Police Recovers 194 Rounds of Live Ammunition, 5 Military Uniforms at Iseyin-Ogbomoso Road

The Oyo State Police command has announced that its men have discovered a forest where criminals were using as hideout at the Oki village, along Iseyin’s-Ogbomoso road.
The Iseyin-Ogbomoso road was flagged off recently by Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State to serve as an easy link between the Oke-Ogun region of Oyo State and the northern Nigeria.
In a tweet shared on the State Twitter account on Monday evening, the command announced that other things discovered at the hideout were torch lights and a mobile phone.

The tweet explained that while other suspected forest hideouts were being combed, the SIM card in the phone was also being processed for possible identification.
The State police command did not state whether any suspect was arrested, but they promised to furnish the general public with further details as investigations continued.

“(194) One-hundred and Ninety-four 7.62mm (AK-47 Type) live rounds of Ammunition, 5 Millitary Uniforms, Torches and disposable mobile recovered at Criminal hideout/Armoury. Sim processing Ongoing.

“Not to create panic…these ones were found at Oki Village along Ogbomoso/Iseyin Road. We are clearing more of such criminal cells at the moment. More details would be furnished soon,” the Tweet stated.
