Sallah Eve Tragedy: Five Dies As Storey Building Collapses in Lagos

















Five people have been reported dead while many were wounded as a three storey building collapsed at Ibadan Street, Ebute Meta Lagos Mainland local government in Lagos on the eve of sallah day.




















The incident which happened late on Sunday night was as a result of what the people at the scene of the incident called lackadaisical attitude of regulatory authorities that supposed to have evacuated the tenants of the building that have been served quit notice three months ago by the son of the late landlord.












Meanwhile the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service and other State agencies have started rescue efforts since the incident happened.












The identities of the dead victims were yet to be revealed as at the time of going to press.
